The month of July is dedicated to the most Precious Blood of Jesus, the very lifeblood of the Church, which is the Body of Christ. The robes of the holy saints and martyrs were washed white as snow by it. St. Catherine Siena declared that it is an ocean of Divine Mercy pouring out for us. May our hearts be filled with deep gratitude for the gift of our salvation which Our Lord has given us through his Most Precious Blood.

Flame of Love Cenacles
Tues. at 10 am & Thurs. at 10 am and 2 pm
About 30 prayer warriors per week on average are attending the Flame of Love Cenacles and experiencing the power of praying in groups, and more are discovering this devotion every week. They pray specifically for the Holy Spirit to come into our hearts by means of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and, in so doing effect a new Pentecost. You are welcome to come to any one of the cenacles to learn more.
Blanket Making Workshops
Tuesday, July 10th & 24th, 1-3 pm
Linus Project Blanket Making Workshops are held at 1:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in our Conference room. Come learn to make colorful, knotted fleece blankets for Project Linus, a non-profit organization which provides snuggly handmade blankets to children in need. If you can cut and make knots, you can make a blanket! Material and supplies are provided. Already over 100 blankets have been donated and thank you letters are rolling in!
Children's Storytime & Craft
Wednesday, July 11th & 25th, 10:30 am

Bring the little ones to hear Mrs. Ginny read some of the good Catholic children's books which we carry in the store. A fun craft and snack will be provided. RSVP if possible so we are sure to have enough for all of our littlest patrons (but if your plans open up at the last minute, please feel free to drop in. We always have extra just in case). Also, be sure to get on our Storytime email list for reminders.

Thanks a Ton...Times Four and a Half!
Volunteers Frank Caruso and Dimitri Koutas cut up, loaded up and hauled away over four and a half tons of dead wood which our grounds had accumulated. The endeavor took multiple trips and days, and we are extremely grateful for all their hard work! Our Lady's Center relies on dedicated volunteers such as these two generous men who understand our need and step up in joyful selflessness. We know they will be rewarded abundantly for their efforts in honoring Our Blessed Mother.

A Home Grown Seminarian!
We are excited to share the news that James Lancelotta, the son of Katherine and the late James Lancelotta Sr., and the great-grand nephew of Our Lady's Center's founder, Frank Lancelotta, has just been accepted by Archbishop Lori into Seminary. He will be studying at St. Mary's Seminary in Roland Park, Baltimore beginning later this summer. James has been a regular face at our Masses and most recently had stepped up to fill our need for another server here at OLC. Please join us in spiritually adopting James and praying for his protection as he follows God's call and trusts in His providential plan for his life.

We can't help but feel our prayers had perhaps a little to do with James's decision. After all, we take praying for vocations very seriously here. In fact, we have a special devotion of a traveling Bust and Chalice which you can sign up in the bookstore to take home for a two-week cycle, to pray for vocations and your own intentions. Contact Board member Ada Vergne to find out more.

A Welcome Addition to the Board
Please join us in welcoming the newest member of our Board of Directors, Diane Andrews! Diane has been a regular patron and a wonderful volunteer for us for years, particularly excelling in the role of decorator of our chapel during Advent and Christmastime. Diane also has been beautifying our outdoor grotto and changing the foliage to reflect the seasons. She even has exhibited a natural ability to make order out of chaos, arranging our raffle baskets in an exceedingly swift and yet organized and attractive manner. Diane brings with her many years of business experience from managing her own dance studio for over 30 years. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to her greater involvement.
