All Our June Masses Were Blessed with Fair Weather
Even though June saw its fair share of storms, not one of our outdoor daily Masses needed to be canceled or moved inside due to weather! We were able to accommodate every patron who showed up instead of being limited by indoor capacity regulations. Our priests were all overjoyed to see the enthusiastic turnout including seven Dominican sisters from Mount de Sales for First Friday Mass.

We Are So Grateful for the Help!
Some thank you's are in order. First of all, the audio quality of the sound system we've been using for outdoor Mass has been excellent A big thank you to King Audio & Visual! They have been showing up daily to set up their equipment and have done an exemplary job throughout this past month ensuring everyone could hear and participate in Mass. The cancelation of so many previously scheduled conventions and large gatherings has certainly been felt by this company, and yet they have still insisted on charging us much less than their normal rates. We are so very appreciative. Please keep them in your prayers and patronize them if you can.

Thank you also to Knight of Columbus Joe Knight for coming every day and directing traffic daily and taking Mass counts. Our youngest employee, Paul Krebs, has been diligently setting up the altar for Mass, attending to every detail and ensuring the candles stay lit and everything is in its place. He also has been assisting with directing parking and various other needs. President of the Board, Jack Kissane, has also been attending daily, providing the foresight, direction and leadership that has enabled everything to run so smoothly.

Thank you especially to Fr. Maurice, Fr. Matthias, Fr. Ambrose and Fr. Julius for celebrating Masses at OLC, for excellent, thought-provoking homilies, for hours and hours of confessions heard, and for being such humble, joyful, trustworthy shepherds for our many patrons.

We are all aware how unsettling are these times. But there is great hope, and this may be a sign. The Warning by Christine Watkins is a highly acclaimed book offering the most thorough understanding to date of “the Warning,” or “the Illumination of Conscience”—a critical moment in human history when every person alive will see their soul in the light of divine truth—including fascinating stories of those who have already experienced it for themselves.

Mrs. Christine Watkins, MTS, LCSW, is an inspirational Catholic speaker, author, and radio and tv host. Formerly an anti-Christian atheist, she began a life of service to the Catholic Church after a miraculous healing from Jesus through Mary, which saved her from death.

This is a Marian consecration that people don't want to see end. Healing miracles, reunited families, and Catholic conversions are resulting from this self-guided retreat. It offers an outpouring of grace upon your life and loved ones and comes to us in most tumultuous times. Today it is important that we consecrate ourselves to the Mother of God--entrusting our lives to her protection, guidance, and care, and inviting her to conform us to the likeness of her Son. There is so much need and brokenness in the world, in the Church, in our families, and in our hearts. By preparing for consecration through the power of the Rosary, a little fasting, and a two-minute reading of a beautiful daily meditation on a virtue or gift of the Holy Spirit, we can expect heaven's help.
