To our dedicated and resilient ReBuilders,
I hope this message finds you well. Presently, it seems as though everything is out of place: people are being jostled out of their routines, programs are evolving, and an air of uncertainty rests around us. It’s all incredibly overwhelming. But when I think of Rebuilding Together’s strong community of ReBuilders, I’m reminded of the incredible power that comes from our care and support for one another.
As we band together to overcome this adversity, I want to thank each and every one of you for your commitment to our neighbors in need and for all of the support you have demonstrated for our mission.
In order to meet the demands of this health crisis, we must adjust our operations to protect the health and safety of our homeowners. It will come as no surprise to you that the majority of the population we serve is of higher risk to the effects of COVID-19. While a core piece of our programming is very much dependent on our ReBuilders, in order to protect our homeowners, volunteers, and staff, we must postpone our volunteer events until further notice.
We appreciate your understanding and your perseverance while we adapt our programming so that we can continue to deliver these critical services to our region’s most vulnerable.
