Our virtual Hummingbird Banding Event at Smith-Gilbert Gardens was held last week. We caught, banded and released 14 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. Click our YouTube link above or visit our Facebook page to watch all seven short videos.

Our friend Bob Zaremba just put in a new pond to attract even more birds to their magical yard, and within minutes, a couple of Chestnut-sided Warblers, above) dropped in to christen it! Water is a bird magnet.

Since then, the Zarembas have also seen tanagers, thrushes, vireos and several more warblers including this American Redstart (above) and Northern Parula (below).
