We have so much going on and so many reasons to celebrate!

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We have been in business
for 10 years!
The store of course has existed longer than that, but Cynthia and Shannon have managed a lot of ups and downs over our tenure as owners and have lived to tell the tale.
We are not ones to sing our own praises, but we are proud of ourselves. We have learned so much over the years and are so thankful that we took a leap - partly of faith and partly of crazy - but we did it!
In looking back, it was all about hard work, a fantastic sense of humour, determination, a one-in-a-million winning match of being business partners as well as friends, extraordinary staff, and having SUPPORTIVE CUSTOMERS that got us to this point - and will continue to carry us to our next chapter!

So what's next, you ask?...

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We are moving in February!
Don't worry, we are not going far.
We are staying in Cookstown - just
"down the street and around the corner",
so to speak.
This dear old building has housed this quilt shop for somewhere in the neighbourhood of 20 years and as much as we love it, it no longer suits our needs. We need more and different space. We need more room for displays, more room for people, and more room for our online order processing area.

M-O-R-E R-O-O-M ! ! !
Our new space will be big, bright and beautiful!
We will give you all the details, as the time approaches and all the wrinkles are ironed out.
So stay tuned for more emails on that topic!
For now, we can definitively tell you that we move in February. We will be closed for as little time as possible - as we pack down and reassemble our store. Our website will remain open and our moving elves will fill your orders!
Oh, of course, we are through the roof excited with a dash (or two) of overwhelmed. It is a H-U-G-E undertaking, but we are up for the challenge!

We have some big milestone birthdays to celebrate!
Cynthia turns 65 in April, and
Shannon turns 50 in August.
We are both in charge of planning our own birthday extravaganza! We really hope we can include some food by then! At the very least, we are planning
as much fun as we can
in celebration of
"Our Big Year",
given the limitations we face these days...

Our first fun order of business for 2021 is a monthly draw.
Each month this year, "Our Big Year", we are going to draw THREE names from our in-store/ curbside/ online customers.

FREE PORCH PICKUP / $5 SHIPPING:
Free Porch Pickup: Available Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm and Sunday 1-4pm. Simply select "Porch Pickup" at checkout and your parcel will be held for your contact-free porch pickup. Upon arrival to the store, knock at the door - or you can call the store and someone will place your parcel on the porch. Please wait for a pickup notification by email (about 5-7 days).
$5 Shipping: For orders under $150 (pre tax) you will be charged a flat free shipping fee of $5. For orders over $150, shipping is FREE. We use Canada Post. If the item is oversized, it is sent Expedited and you will receive a tracking number - otherwise, you will not get a notification.
RETURNS:
Unfortunately we cannot accept or process returns during COVID-19.
