Winter Tips:

Birdbath heaters and deicers will keep your ceramic and concrete birdbaths from freezing and cracking. Water is essential year round for drinking and bathing, even in frigid temperatures.

Extra high protein treats like mealworms, nuts and suet, in addition to birdseed are always appreciated.

Don't wait until Spring to put up new birdhouses. Bluebirds, Chickadees, Titmice, Nuthatches, Wrens and even Downy Woodpeckers will roost in them on cold, Winter nights.

Leave a brush pile in your yard for Wrens, Towhees, Sparrows and Juncos to forage and roost inside.
