Celebrating 28 years in business. Our store opened in December 1994. I saw a sign in the window of JoAnn Fabrics in Round Lake, Ill. "looking for a sewing machine department to open". I was an Allstate Insurance Agent at the time with my husband Joe. I already owned a Janome embroidery machine and knew that I would want to sell that brand. I applied for the opening, and contacted Janome and so it began. I worked alongside wonderful people at JoAnn's and it never seemed like work. We helped each other when times got busy and had so much fun working together.
Since then we have continued to move when we outgrew our space. We have been in Lake Villa now for 12 years, started selling the Babylock brand of machine and love our current location. Our customers and employees make everyday worthwhile. We are so grateful for our customers and the referrals they send so we can continue to teach and grow with them.
