Heads up!
We will be having new floors installed this weekend at our Kennesaw store. We will still be open, but it will be a construction zone and most merchandise will be in the stockroom (and everything will be a huge mess!) Also, our neighbors at Ecologie will be having an event, and half of the parking lot will be closed off. We highly recommend that you do your shopping before Saturday or after Tuesday, and take advantage of our curbside service. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is long overdue! To place curbside orders call 770-499-7597.

Most Ruby-throats have migrated out of the area, although there will be a few stragglers and lingerers (mostly young birds) through the end of the month. But, don't take all of your feeders down! We always recommend leaving one or two up for possible Western species like Rufous Hummingbirds that can winter in the Southeast instead going to Mexico and Central America. If you see ANY hummingbirds after November 1st, please email us a photo or post on our Facebook page!
Many of our customers have been lucky winter hummer hosts over the years.
Hi, BirdWatchers!

Thank you all for making our 33rd Anniversary so special! The retail business is not for the faint of heart, and the past few years have been pretty crazy for everyone, but especially for retail stores. We appreciate our staff and customers now more than ever. Thank you for being Bird Watchers!

Back in June, we traveled to Whitesburg, GA to film a program about hummingbirds with Sharon Collins of Georgia Outdoors. It looks like it’s going to be really good from the sneak peek on Facebook! The episode 'Hummingbird Heaven' will air tonight at 7:30pm on your local Georgia Public Broadcasting channel. Our friends Melanie Furr and Sibley, Georgia Audubon's Education Ambassador Ruby-throated Hummingbird, will also be featured. Hope you'll watch!
