Navigating the Treacherous Spiritual Shoals of Our Times & Finding Peace
A talk by Ted Flynn
Wednesday, May 10th, 7:00 pm
Amidst the ferocity of the storms we are experiencing in our world, in our homes, and in our hearts, it is easy to lose hope. We are in exile, and we are watching in horror the seeming destruction and loss of everything we hold dear. But take heart! Author and speaker Ted Flynn will show us how, through the Prophet Jeremiah, God has provided us with precise instructions on how His people in captivity should live until everything is restored. Bookstore open until talk.

Thank You, Spring Clean-Up Volunteers!
A huge Thank You to all who turned out for our annual OLC Spring Clean Up Day! The grounds were cleared of an enormous amount of debris and mulched, the Center pressure-washed, the grotto tidied, and the Chapel polished to a lovely shine. Our only regret was not getting more photos, especially of the chapel crew! We appreciate all the effort.

A Mother's Warm Gratitude
One of the 1400 blankets made by the OLC Blanketeers made it's way into an ailing child's arms at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her mother posted a beautiful message of gratitude on the Howard County Chapter of the Project Linus Blanket Making group sharing her deep gratitude for the gift of the "beautiful" blanket and hopes her daughter cherishes it forever. She said, "Thank you for all you do. You guys are appreciated." The pattern was recognized as one of the blankets made by an OLC Blanketeer. God bless this precious little one and all who receive these blankets.
