MONTHLY SOCK CLUB received one of the largest responses....  from both customers AND instructors!!!
Sock Club will meet 2X a month on Sundays. This is for folks who want to learn to make socks, or to improve their skills. Note this is NOT for new knitters or crocheters, you must have a good grasp of basic skills.
1st and 3rd Sunday will be KNIT SOCK CLUB (except January meetings will be 2nd & 4th)
2nd & 4th Sunday of the month will be CROCHET SOCK CLUB meetings (again Jan will be 3rd & 5th due to shop closure for annual re-do)

Each month will be run by a different instructor, each will be a different style of sock and each kit will feature a different yarn and other items. You will receive a coupon for the yarn to be used so you can select color of your choice!

Seating will be limited & we are still discussing a Zoom option.

As we strive to help you become better @ your craft, & not to be intimidated trying new patterns/ projects, once or twice a month we will bring back TECHNIQUE TUESDAYS (for Knitters) & TECHNIQUE THURSDAYS (for Crocheters) (Note occasionally these will be combined depending on the technique such as Ravelry workshops, finishing techniques etc)

Again, these will be offered both in the afternoon and the evening, run by different instructors and featuring different skill sets every month.
  1. Fix Your Mistakes
  2. Other topics will include, Reading a Pattern and making adjustments to fit,
  3. Adjustments to change yarn in a pattern/ gauge
  4. Reading your stitches, inc & dec options,
  5. Ravelry how to,
  6. Working with cables etc etc.
First Session of Technique Tues will be for knitters and crocheters alike. This will kick off on Tues Jan 10th, choose 2-4PM or 5-7PM
Are you going to have a pile of holiday gifts (either knit or crochet) waiting to be finished so you can "really" give them away? Janet will show you how to finish these so they look 'professional vs handmade'.

=> Cocoknits new sweater classes starting with the Mabel, lovely bulky adjustable sweater;
=> continued Fiberside Chats with Debbie Bell/ Lost City Yarns & Kate Oates in January and of course our standard Beginner & Beyond classes.

Beth will be starting up her Zoom classes in
=> Feb with Suzanne Bryan’s Mitt/Mitten Tutorial and in
=> March featuring Michele Hunter's Building with Lace Blocks. She will be covering 1 lace block per month so plenty of time to work through it!.

Our space is tight, so Drop-in social knitting is going to take a hiatus for the time being till everything shakes out....  we recommend the Knitting Group @ Northboro Senior Center for the time being.

Several folks requested morning options for some of these workshops. Unfortunately, most mornings our seating spaces are taken up by ongoing classes ... however we are trying to re-think our retail space....  lots to work on!

Thanks again for your input and continued support! As a small business, we appreciate your patronage, & you're using our great quality products for your projects and in classes and workshops
