The 2023 Great Backyard Bird Count is this weekend! Join thousands of biologists, birders and casual birdwatchers to count birds for science! Visit the GBBC website to get started, or if you currently use eBird, you're all set. It's fun for individuals, families, friends and school groups. Here's a collection of 18 common birds you might spy in your yard for practice. Can you ID all of them? Answers below. BTW if you get stumped on any birds during the count, snap a pic and post on our Facebook page and we'll be happy to help you identify them.
