Jam on Walnut is Shadyside’s biggest summer block party. Walnut Street shuts down for a night of fun, food and drinks. Pittsburgh’s hottest bands come out to play for this great summer event!

Yappy Hour
Bring your pup and join us at our next Yappy Hour on Friday, March 22 at Petagogy Shadyside!* From 6:00 to 8:00 pm enjoy free beer--for the humans--and free Barley Bones--treats made from spent brewing grains--for the dogs! Volunteers from a local rescue will be guest bartending! We will donate 10% of all sales made during the event to the evening's featured rescue. *Humans must be at least 21 years of age. All dogs must be on leashes (no retractable leashes, please) and must be comfortable around other dogs and people.

Chanticleer Returns to Shadyside Presbyterian Church
|

|
|
Music in a Great Space, the concert series at Shadyside Presbyterian Church, welcomes the return of “America’s a cappella pride and joy,” Chanticleer, on Sunday, March 31, at 3:00 p.m. “The world’s reigning male chorus” will present its “Then and There, Here and Now” 40th anniversary program. Founded in San Francisco in 1978, Chanticleer is known around the world as “an orchestra of voices” for the seamless blend of its twelve male voices ranging from countertenor to bass and its original interpretations of vocal literature – from Renaissance to jazz, and from gospel to venturesome new music. Tickets cost $35 each through the church office. Previous presentations of Chanticleer drew capacity crowds; securing your tickets in advance is recommended. The church is situated on the corner of Amberson Avenue and Westminster Place, one block off Fifth Avenue. Free on-street parking is available surrounding the church. The church is wheelchair-accessible.
