Arizona Quilts

As we start the 3rd week of our new year, it has become very apparent that many of our friends from colder climates have flown South to enjoy the sunshine and upper 60 degree temps that our Arizona winter offers. One of our employees, who resides here seasonally as well, said that there have been over 200 trailers and or RV's pull into their park almost overnight. This yearly phenomenon is on full display almost every time I venture out to the bank or just try to navigate the Grand Avenue Bridge to pick up lunch from Chik-Fil-A. For me, Valley traffic is just part of my day, considering I have an 84 mile round-trip commute several days a week to my regular job in South Tempe. FYI- you kind of get used to the drive eventually, but it still is about as enjoyable as a trip to the dentist! On the other hand, I'm guessing, many of you that don't have to experience big city traffic very often may relate to the above picture and correlate driving on Bell Road to be likened to trying to find your groove in a Formula 1 race.
To others of you our traffic may seem like child's play...either way welcome back.

We sure hope you come by soon to say hi and to see all the awesome new lines of fabric we are receiving weekly. We have a "plethora" of classes that you might just want to sign up for while you're here!
One more thing I want to mention is that in the last week alone we heard several times how much people really enjoy our store and how great our team is at helping them with their projects! One of the notable comments was from one of our customers that called into the store while she was visiting another state. She called to say that she had gone to a couple of quilt shops and was unable to find any baby fabric and couldn't wait to get back here so that she could come in and get what she needed! She thanked us for having such a great selection of fabric. Another comment was made by someone who popped their head into the office while we were meeting with Sonja, our Moda rep. She wanted to brag on our staff and let us know how great they were to extend help to her...WOW! We really appreciate those words of encouragement because it is our goal to help your experience be the best it can be.
